The Telecommunications, Radiocommunications & Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) in Vanuatu announced on Friday, March 17, 2023 that devices that only have Bluetooth are exempted from the Local Importer Permit requirement. Manufacturers of devices with only Bluetooth, and devices with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality will still require mandatory type approval prior to importing this equipment into the country.
