The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad & Tobago (TATT) has opened a public consultation titled “Equipment Standardisation and Certification Framework for the Telecommunications and Broadcasting Sectors (First Round)” on November 1, 2022. This consultation aims to remedy shortcomings of the current framework in Trinidad & Tobago for standardization and certification of telecommunications and broadcasting equipment by modernizing the general processes and requirements. The consultation may be accessed here, and will be open for comments until November 30, 2022.
