The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad & Tobago (TATT) has opened a public consultation on the Spectrum Plan for the Accommodation of Public Mobile Telecommunications of Services on March 1, 2023.
The main points included in the consultation are:
- An amendment for the Frequency Assignment Plan for the 850 MHz frequency band
- The expansion of the 1900 MHz and 1.7/2.1 GHz bands
- The inclusion of 2.5 GHz and lower 3.5 GHz bands for cellular mobile radiocommunications service
