The National Information & Communications Technology Authority (NICTA) of Papua New Guinea opened a public consultation on May 12, 2023, on the following items:
- Draft 2600 MHz Band Plan and Background Paper
- Draft 3500 MHz Band Plan for IMT and Background Paper
- Draft Spectrum Assignment and Licensing Methodology
These plans propose using radiofrequency spectrum in the 2600 MHz and 3500 MHz frequency bands for mobile communications services in Papua New Guinea. The consultation may be accessed here and will be open for comments until June 7, 2023.
