Instituto Nacional das Comunicações de Moçambique (INCM) published Decreto No. 36/2026 on the Regulation on the Licensing of Telecommunications and Scarce Resources on July 16, 2026. Indonesia Komdigi Issues Regulation No. 10 of 2026
Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (Komdigi) in Indonesia announced Regulation No. 10 of 2026 on August 6, 2026, on the Classification Criteria for Technical Implementation Units in the Field of Radio Frequency Spectrum Monitoring and Digital Infrastructure. Egypt NTRA Conducts Africa’s First Trial of Mobile Services Using U6GHz Band

European Commission Publishes CRA Implementation Guidance
The European Commission previously held a public consultation on draft Guidance for the application of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The European Commission published the Guidance on July 27, 2026, to help manufacturers, developers, and businesses comply with the CRA obligations. The main CRA obligations will be mandatory starting December 11, 2027. Reporting obligations will be mandatory starting September 11, 2026. Mexico CRT Opens Public Consultation on Regulatory Sandboxes
La Comisión Reguladora de Telecomunicaciones (CRT) of Mexico has opened a public consultation on the proposed "General Guidelines for the Authorization of Controlled Testing and Experimentation Environments in Telecommunications and Broadcasting", also known as Regulatory Sandboxes. China MIIT Releases Official Safety Standard for Automated Driving Systems of Intelligent Connected Vehicles
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China published the national standard "Safety Requirements for Automated Driving Systems of Intelligent Connected Vehicles" (GB 44721—2026) on August 4, 2026. MIIT has also shared a visual guide to the new mandatory national standard. The standard is scheduled to be implemented on July 1, 2027.
