Following the previous posts on regulatory changes for EAEU/EAC approval (Customs Union EAEU/EAC Updated Requirements / Customs Union EAEU/EAC Updated Requirements – 2), the updates listed below came into force on July 1, 2021 and are applicable to EAEU CoC and EAEU DoC.
- While applying for approval, information to be entered into the Federal State Information System (FSIS) must include a global location number (GLN or GTIN). If the GLN is not available, the exact GLONASS coordinates of the factories for any foreign-manufactured products must be provided, and the manufacturer must confirm that no GLN is available.
- Sample selection must be representative of the type of product submitted for certification, including in terms of the number of samples. One additional sample beyond the necessary amount of samples for testing must be sent with every sample shipment.
