The Brazil Telecommunication Agency (ANATEL) published Acts 3151, 3152 and 3153 with the test requirements for 5G technology.  These acts apply to Mobile Phones, Access Terminal Stations (referred to as “ETA” in Brazil) and Base Station Transceivers using 5G technology.

ANATEL currently accepts the certification of 5G devices operating in the bands open for use by 3G and 4G products.  However, ANATEL will be publishing new Acts/Resolutions covering new frequency bands specific to 5G, which are expected to include the 2.3GHz and 3.5GHz bands.
