Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina has released the following two updated test protocol versions:
- FHSS Systems Protocol V20.1
- Broadband Systems Protocol V20.1
These test protocols cover the following frequency bands:
The most significant change is that both the minimum and maximum bandwidth will be measured by the local test labs for each frequency band (previously only the maximum bandwidth was measured during local testing). Starting December 1, 2020, all products must be tested to the updated test protocol versions in order to gain ENACOM approval. Renewal applications will not be impacted, as previous test reports will continue to be accepted for renewals. The local labs have been grandfathered accreditation, but due to the new additional testing requirements, will likely raise test costs for the impacted products.
